When to Use

When to Use

Prospective monitoring of disease activity in patients with isolated angioedema (non-hereditary).
To assess the efficacy of H1-antihistamines, omalizumab, or immunosuppressants in chronic spontaneous angioedema.
Longitudinal tracking for clinical trials and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs).
Differentiating between low-activity and high-activity disease to guide therapy escalation.

Target Population

Adult and pediatric patients with recurrent angioedema without concomitant urticaria (hives). For patients with both, the UAS7 is often used in conjunction with AAS.
