Mechanism of Action
ADDERALL 30

Adderall contains mixed amphetamine salts that increase synaptic levels of dopamine and norepinephrine by inhibiting their reuptake and promoting release from presynaptic terminals.

BYVALSON

Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively binds to the AT1 receptor, inhibiting angiotensin II-mediated vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion. It also reduces blood pressure and causes vasodilation.

Monitor blood pressure and renal function closely upon initiation, especially in patients on high-dose ACE inhibitors or ARBs. Avoid use with ACE inhibitors within 36 hours due to risk of angioedema. May cause hypotension, hyperkalemia, and renal impairment. Titrate every 2-4 weeks to target dose of 97/103 mg BID as tolerated.
