ADZENYS XR-ODT vs MYDAYIS

Adzenys XR-ODT contains amphetamine, a central nervous system stimulant that increases extracellular levels of dopamine and norepinephrine by inhibiting their reuptake and promoting their release from presynaptic terminals.
MYDAYIS is a fixed-dose combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, which are non-catecholamine sympathomimetic amines with CNS stimulant activity. The mechanism of action in ADHD is not fully elucidated, but they block the reuptake of norepinephrine and dopamine into the presynaptic neuron and increase their release into the extraneuronal space.
Initial: 9.4 mg orally once daily in the morning; titrate in increments of 9.4 mg per week based on tolerability and response. Maximum: 56.4 mg once daily.
