Mechanism of Action
ALBALON

Naphazoline is an imidazoline derivative that acts as a direct-acting sympathomimetic amine, stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors in the conjunctival arterioles, resulting in vasoconstriction and decreased congestion.

ACUVAIL

Ketorolac tromethamine, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by blocking cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes. This reduces ocular inflammation and pain.
