Adults: IM/SC 10 mg every 4 hours as needed, maximum 40 mg/day; IV 5 mg over 1 minute, may repeat in 20-30 minutes, maximum 10 mg.
Typical adult dose: 10-25 mg orally 3 times daily. Maximum dose: 200 mg/day.
