Amosene is a benzodiazepine that enhances gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) activity at GABA-A receptors, increasing chloride ion conductance and neuronal hyperpolarization, leading to anxiolytic, sedative, and muscle relaxant effects.
Antihistamine; binds to histamine H1 receptors, blocking the effects of histamine; also exhibits anticholinergic and mild sedative properties.
