APHTHASOL vs AQNEURSA

Aphthasol (amlexanox) is an anti-inflammatory agent that inhibits the formation and release of inflammatory mediators such as histamine and leukotrienes from mast cells, neutrophils, and other inflammatory cells. It also inhibits the activation of eosinophils and neutrophils, and reduces cytokine production, thereby suppressing the immune response involved in aphthous ulcer formation.
AQNEURSA is a monoclonal antibody that binds to and inhibits the activity of serum amyloid A (SAA), reducing amyloid deposition in tissues.
Adults: 5 mg orally three times daily for 5 days.
AQNEURSA (ursodiol) is administered orally at 13–15 mg/kg/day in 2–4 divided doses for primary biliary cholangitis. For gallstone dissolution, the dose is 8–10 mg/kg/day in 2–3 divided doses, with a maximum of 300 mg twice daily.
