Fluticasone furoate is a synthetic trifluorinated corticosteroid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. The terminal elimination half-life of fluticasone furoate is approximately 24 hours. This long half-life supports once-daily dosing and contributes to sustained anti-inflammatory effects in the lungs.
