Mechanism of Action
AVSOLA

Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) alpha inhibitor; AVSOLA (infliximab-axxq) is a chimeric monoclonal antibody that binds with high affinity to soluble and transmembrane forms of TNF-alpha, thereby inhibiting binding of TNF-alpha to its receptors (TNFR1 and TNFR2) and reducing pro-inflammatory cytokine signaling.

ABRILADA

Adalimumab is a recombinant human Ig G1 monoclonal antibody that binds specifically to tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) and neutralizes its biological activity by blocking its interaction with p55 and p75 cell surface TNF receptors. It also modulates biological responses induced or regulated by TNFα, including changes in adhesion molecules, chemotaxis, and apoptosis.

Discontinue adalimumab if a serious infection develops.
