Mechanism of Action
AZASITE

Azasite (azithromycin ophthalmic solution) is a macrolide antibiotic that binds to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, inhibiting protein synthesis.

AMOSENE

Amosene is a benzodiazepine that enhances gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) activity at GABA-A receptors, increasing chloride ion conductance and neuronal hyperpolarization, leading to anxiolytic, sedative, and muscle relaxant effects.

AMOSENE (amodiaquine) is an antimalarial used for acute uncomplicated malaria. Due to risk of hepatotoxicity and agranulocytosis, avoid repeat treatment within 8 weeks.
