Mechanism of Action
BAL

Chelating agent that forms stable complexes with heavy metals (e.g., arsenic, mercury, lead) by binding to their sulfhydryl groups, facilitating renal excretion.

INJECTAPAP

Acetaminophen is a centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic; its exact mechanism is not fully understood but involves inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes in the central nervous system and modulation of descending serotonergic pathways. It does not have significant anti-inflammatory activity.
