Synthetic tripeptide (l-prolyl-l-lysyl-l-phenylalanyl) that stimulates phagocytosis via activation of mononuclear phagocytes and polymorphonuclear leukocytes through binding to formyl peptide receptors (FPRs), enhancing chemotaxis, superoxide production, and bactericidal activity.
