BRISTACYCLINE is a tetracycline antibiotic that reversibly binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit, inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis by blocking the attachment of aminoacyl-tRNA to the mRNA-ribosome complex.
Doxycycline, a tetracycline antibiotic, inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, blocking aminoacyl-tRNA binding to the mRNA-ribosome complex.
250 mg orally every 6 hours for 7-14 days.
