DIPROLENE vs PREDNICARBATE

Topical corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive actions. Suppresses inflammation by inducing phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins (lipocortins) and inhibiting release of arachidonic acid, thereby reducing prostaglandin and leukotriene synthesis.
Prednicarbate is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties. It binds to glucocorticoid receptors, leading to inhibition of phospholipase A2, decreased release of arachidonic acid, and reduced synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
Topical: Apply thin film to affected area once or twice daily. Maximum dose: 45 g/week.
Topical: apply sparingly to affected area twice daily; maximum 50 g per week.
