Standard Dosing

DOCA

DOCA requires intramuscular injection; do not administer intravenously. Use in conjunction with glucocorticoids to mimic cortisol's permissive effects on catecholamines. Avoid in patients with hypertension, heart failure, or renal impairment due to sodium and water retention.

Acyclovir in sodium chloride 0.9% preservative-free is for IV administration only; do not administer IM or SC. Infuse over at least 1 hour to prevent renal tubular damage.
