E-BASE is a proton pump inhibitor that irreversibly inhibits the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, suppressing gastric acid secretion.
Erythromycin acts by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, inhibiting protein synthesis by blocking translocation of peptidyl-tRNA. It may also inhibit ribosomal assembly.
25 mg orally once daily.
