Elifemme is a small-molecule inhibitor of the bromodomain and extraterminal (BET) family of proteins, specifically BRD4. It disrupts the interaction between BET proteins and acetylated histones, thereby inhibiting oncogene transcription including MYC and BCL2.
Levonorgestrel is a synthetic progestin that inhibits ovulation by suppressing luteinizing hormone (LH) surge, alters cervical mucus to impede sperm penetration, and induces endometrial changes that inhibit implantation.
Subcutaneous injection: 0.5 mL (15 mg) once weekly.
