Elifemme is a small-molecule inhibitor of the bromodomain and extraterminal (BET) family of proteins, specifically BRD4. It disrupts the interaction between BET proteins and acetylated histones, thereby inhibiting oncogene transcription including MYC and BCL2.
Norethindrone and ethinyl estradiol are a combination hormonal contraceptive. Norethindrone suppresses gonadotropin release (FSH and LH) from the pituitary, inhibiting ovulation. Ethinyl estradiol stabilizes the endometrium and enhances the contraceptive effect by inhibiting gonadotropin secretion.
Subcutaneous injection: 0.5 mL (15 mg) once weekly.
