FLORONE vs NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE

Glucocorticoid receptor agonist; induces phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins (lipocortins), which suppress release of arachidonic acid and subsequent prostaglandin/leukotriene synthesis; also suppresses cytokine production and immune cell migration.
Nystatin binds to ergosterol in fungal cell membranes, forming pores that cause leakage of intracellular contents and cell death. Triamcinolone acetonide is a corticosteroid that binds to glucocorticoid receptors, modulating gene expression to reduce inflammation, immune response, and vasodilation.
Topical: Apply a thin layer to affected skin once or twice daily. Maximum use: 45 g/week.
