FLUNISOLIDE vs HYDELTRASOL

Corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory action; inhibits release of inflammatory mediators (e.g., histamine, leukotrienes), reduces eosinophil migration, and stabilizes mast cells. Suppresses cytokine production and adhesion molecule expression.
Corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties; suppresses multiple inflammatory cytokines and induces lipocortin synthesis.
50 mcg per nostril twice daily (total daily dose 200 mcg), via nasal spray.
Intravenous: Initial dose 100-250 mg, then repeat every 10-30 minutes as needed. Intramuscular: 100-250 mg every 10-30 minutes. Intra-articular: 10-40 mg per joint every 1-2 weeks.
