HALOBETASOL PROPIONATE vs STOBOCLO

Topical corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties. Binds to glucocorticoid receptors, modulating gene expression to inhibit phospholipase A2, reduce prostaglandin and leukotriene synthesis, and suppress cytokine production.
STOBOCLO (bupivacaine and meloxicam) is a dual-acting local anesthetic and NSAID combination. Bupivacaine blocks sodium channels in nerve fibers, preventing nerve impulse conduction and producing local anesthesia. Meloxicam inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis and providing anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
Topical: Apply a thin film to affected areas twice daily (morning and evening). Maximum weekly dose should not exceed 50 g/week. Duration of therapy should be limited to 2 consecutive weeks.
Adults: 5 mg orally once daily, with or without food. Maximum dose: 10 mg once daily.
