Corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive actions. Suppresses cytokine production, inhibits phospholipase A2, and reduces prostaglandin and leukotriene synthesis.

0.1-0.2 mg/kg intravenously once.
