Mechanism of Action
HY-PHEN

HY-PHEN is a combination of hydrocodone (a mu-opioid receptor agonist) and acetaminophen (an analgesic and antipyretic). Hydrocodone binds to mu-opioid receptors in the CNS, altering pain perception and emotional response to pain.
