Hydrocortisone sodium phosphate is a corticosteroid that binds to the glucocorticoid receptor, leading to regulation of gene transcription. XENEISOL is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that potentiates serotonergic activity in the central nervous system by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin at the synaptic cleft.
100-500 mg intravenously or intramuscularly every 2-6 hours as needed for acute conditions; typical dose 100 mg IV/IM every 8 hours.
