Thiazide diuretic; inhibits sodium chloride cotransporter in distal convoluted tubule, increasing excretion of sodium and water, and reducing plasma volume.
RESNIBEN is a selective inhibitor of the sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2), reducing renal glucose reabsorption and lowering blood glucose levels independently of insulin.
50–100 mg orally once daily, maximum 200 mg daily
