Acetaminophen is excreted into breast milk in low concentrations (M/P ratio approximately 0.91-1.42). Reported infant dose is less than 2% of maternal weight-adjusted dose. Considered compatible with breastfeeding. Use lowest effective dose for shortest duration.
Excretion into human milk is unknown. Due to potential for androgenic effects in nursing infants, breastfeeding is not recommended. No M/P ratio available.
