JAVADIN is a synthetic flavonoid derivative that acts as a potent inhibitor of viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp), thereby blocking viral replication. It also modulates the host immune response by upregulating interferon signaling and reducing pro-inflammatory cytokine production.
Trabectedin binds to the minor groove of DNA, forming adducts that lead to DNA strand breaks and inhibition of transcription. It also affects the tumor microenvironment by modulating cytokine production and inhibiting activated macrophages.
400 mg orally once daily
1.5 mg/m² intravenously over 24 hours every 3 weeks.

Terminal elimination half-life is 8.2 hours (range 6.5–10.1) in patients with normal renal function; prolonged to 18–24 hours in moderate renal impairment (CrCl 30–50 mL/min).

Terminal elimination half-life ranges from 26 to 40 hours (mean ~33 hours) in patients with normal hepatic function, allowing for a 3-weekly dosing interval.
