ACEPHEN (acetaminophen) is a para-aminophenol derivative with analgesic and antipyretic activity. Lamotrigine is excreted into breast milk with a milk-to-plasma ratio of approximately 0.6. Infant serum concentrations can reach 25-50% of maternal levels. Risk of rash, apnea, drowsiness; benefits likely outweigh risks in most cases. Monitor infant for adverse effects.
