LIBRELEASE is a novel therapeutic agent that modulates neurotransmitter release by binding to presynaptic voltage-gated calcium channels, specifically the alpha-2-delta subunit, thereby reducing calcium influx and subsequent neurotransmitter exocytosis. This results in decreased neuronal excitability and modulation of pain pathways.
Temazepam, a benzodiazepine, enhances the effect of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) at the GABA-A receptor, increasing chloride ion conductance and causing neuronal hyperpolarization, leading to anxiolytic, sedative, and hypnotic effects.
10 mg once daily, oral, administered in the morning.
Temazepam 15-30 mg orally at bedtime, up to 60 mg if needed.
