Methylprednisolone acetate is a synthetic glucocorticoid that binds to the glucocorticoid receptor, modulating gene expression to suppress inflammation, immune response, and adrenal function. TRYMEX is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that potentiates serotonergic activity by blocking the reuptake of serotonin at the presynaptic neuron, enhancing neurotransmission in the central nervous system.
40-80 mg intramuscular (IM) or intra-articular (IA) injection; for IM use, dose may be repeated every 1-4 weeks as needed. Maximum single IM dose: 120 mg.
