Methylprednisolone sodium succinate is a glucocorticoid that binds to the glucocorticoid receptor, leading to modulation of gene expression. XENEISOL is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that potentiates serotonergic activity in the central nervous system by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin at the synaptic cleft.
Intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection: 10-40 mg initially, then 10-40 mg every 6-12 hours. For pulse therapy: 1 g IV over 30 minutes daily for 3-5 days.
