Thioridazine is a typical antipsychotic with high affinity for dopamine D2 receptors and moderate affinity for serotonin 5-HT2A, alpha1-adrenergic, and histamine H1 receptors.
Adults: 600 mg orally twice daily; if efficacy not achieved after 2–3 weeks, may increase to 600 mg three times daily.
