PREMPRO combines conjugated estrogens (PREMARIN) and medroxyprogesterone acetate (CYCRIN). Progestins like medroxyprogesterone acetate bind to progesterone receptors, antagonizing estrogen-induced endometrial proliferation and reducing risk of endometrial hyperplasia.
