Dihydroergotamine is an ergot alkaloid with partial agonist activity at serotonin 5-HT1B/1D receptors, leading to vasoconstriction of cranial blood vessels. Thioridazine is a typical antipsychotic with high affinity for dopamine D2 receptors and moderate affinity for serotonin 5-HT2A, alpha1-adrenergic, and histamine H1 receptors.
