Uceris (budesonide) is a corticosteroid with potent glucocorticoid activity. YUTIQ (fluocinolone acetonide intravitreal implant) is a corticosteroid that binds to glucocorticoid receptors, leading to inhibition of phospholipase A2, suppression of arachidonic acid release, and downregulation of pro-inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins, leukotrienes, and cytokines. This reduces inflammation and vascular permeability in the eye.
