Mechanism of Action
AMMONIUM CHLORIDE

Ammonium chloride is an acidifying agent. It dissociates to ammonium and chloride ions. The ammonium ion is converted to urea in the liver, releasing hydrogen ions, which lower blood and urinary p H. It also increases chloride concentration, promoting excretion of bicarbonate and other bases.

Acetaminophen: weak COX-1/2 inhibitor, analgesic and antipyretic through central action; Aspirin: irreversible COX-1/2 inhibitor, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic, antiplatelet; Caffeine: adenosine receptor antagonist, CNS stimulant, enhances analgesic effect.

Standard Dosing
