Pregnant Women
Treatment
1.
Emergency
Establish IV access (Normal Saline). DO NOT perform digital vaginal exam if Placenta Praevia suspected.
2.
Placenta Praevia
Admit. If <34 weeks, give Steroids. Deliver by C-section if bleeding uncontrolled or >37 weeks.
3.
Abruptio Placentae
Urgent C-section if baby alive. If baby dead and no contraindications, induce labour with Oxytocin.
