Cervical Cancer — Uganda (General Adult population)
Screening (25-49 years)
Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) or HPV DNA testing every 5 years.
Symptoms
Investigate foul-smelling vaginal discharge, irregular or post-coital bleeding. Perform biopsy and abdominal ultrasound/CT.
Late Stage
Refer urgently for specialist management (Radiotherapy/Chemotherapy).
