General Adult
Treatment
1.
First Aid
Sit up, tilt head forward. Pinch nose for 15 minutes. Breathe through mouth.
2.
Packing
If bleeding continues, pack nose with gauze strip impregnated with Soft Paraffin or Tetracycline ointment for 24-48 hours.
3.
Refractory
Refer to hospital if bleeding persists after packing.
