Pediatric
Treatment
1.
Signs
Umbilicus red or draining pus, or skin pustules.
2.
Oral Antibiotic
Amoxicillin 250 mg DT (1/4 tab if <4kg, 1/2 tab if 4-6kg) every 12 hours for 5 days.
3.
Local Treatment
Apply Gentian Violet paint twice daily for 5 days. Follow up in 2 days.
