Oesophageal Varices — Uganda (General Adult population)
Prevention of Bleeding
Endoscopy screening. Propranolol 20 mg every 12 hours (titrate to resting HR 55-60 bpm). Avoid in refractory ascites and SBP. Endoscopic ligation.
