General Adult
Treatment
1.
Outpatient Regimen
Ceftriaxone 250 mg IM stat + Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for 14 days + Metronidazole 400 mg twice daily for 14 days.
2.
Pregnancy
Ceftriaxone 250 mg IM stat + Erythromycin 500 mg every 6 hours for 14 days + Metronidazole 400 mg twice daily for 14 days.
3.
Severe/No improvement
Refer for parenteral treatment: Ceftriaxone 1 g IV daily + Metronidazole 500 mg IV every 8 hours.
4.
General
Test for HIV. Treat sexual partners. Abstain from sex during treatment.
