Emergency Management
1.
Management
Psychiatric emergency: admit to hospital. Haloperidol 10 mg or Chlorpromazine 200 mg every 8 or 12 hours.
2.
Agitation
Add Diazepam 5-10 mg slow IV/rectal infusion. Repeat after 10 mins if still agitated.
