General Adult
Treatment
1.
Acute Psychosis
Chlorpromazine 75-300 mg daily (up to 1000 mg) OR Haloperidol 5-20 mg daily. Alternatively, Olanzapine 5-20 mg or Risperidone 2-8 mg daily.
2.
Chronic Psychosis (Adherence problems)
Fluphenazine decanoate 12.5-50 mg every 2-5 weeks IM OR Haloperidol injection (oily) 50-200 mg every 3-4 weeks IM.
