Revised Response Criteria (NHL)

One of the most important aspects of Lugano/Cheson 2014 is that a residual anatomical mass does NOT preclude a Complete Response (CR) if the PET is negative (Deauville 1–3). This reflects that residual fibrosis is common even after successful therapy.

Updates the previous Cheson 2007 (IWG) criteria by formally integrating PET-CT and the 5-point Deauville scale as the primary modality for response assessment in FDG-avid histologies.
